STOP THE MASTS Make
sure you get your objections in to stop them being approved. Every time we stop a mast, it
strikes a blow for sanity. You
can click here for some general tips on
objecting. Here
are some locations where we’ve stopped masts locally..
MASTS
IN / NEAR TO LB HAMMERSMITH AND FULHAM ● Note: It may still be possible
to object after the requested deadline if a decision has not yet been made. For
more information and action: http://www.saynoto5g.uk/blacklion.htm Proposed
site: At the Junction of South Black Lion Lane with the A4 Great West Road,
W6 9TL. Close to Samels Court, Bazalgette Court, opposite St Peters, on the
grass verge Deadline:
16 Oct 2024 (withdrawn after objections) A
typical objection might make the following points: The mast on the A4 would look out of place,
towering over the buildings and trees and dominating the area. This is totally out of keeping with
the relaxed, low-level ambience of the Mall conservation area. It
would also impact the view from the St Peter’s Square conservation area
across the road and distract traffic. The
unwanted mast radiation will not be good for the health of adults, children
or trees in the area. To approve it would undermine the Council’s statutory duty of preventing impairment to children's
health and development. For
more information and action: http://www.saynoto5g.uk/ravenscourt.htm Proposed site: On
the roof of Chiswick Nursing Centre, Ravenscourt Gardens, London W6 0AE Deadline:
5 Jun 2024 (probably end of year in
practice) A
typical objection might make the following points: I object to the proposed mast in Ravenscourt Gardens. It would
make the skyline of Chiswick Nursing Centre look distorted and cluttered and
it wouldn’t look right for a conservation area. The unwanted mast radiation will not be good for the health of
adults, children or trees in the area. There is already good coverage in the area for those who require
